It can be diluted with water, to give a watercolor painting affect, or directly from the bottle to give a heavier coating effect. Duchess Art Fabric Paint needs NO heat setting, and it totally washable after it dries. It retains it's softness and pliability indefinitely. The paint is also non-toxic and of course, water soluble. Wash all utensils immediately after use in warm water.
